Miniature Rainbow and Charlotte Cakes Scene Workshops

It has been a while since we had clay workshops, there will be a lot of exciting news coming this Aug. First in line is our newly created miniature cake scene workshops. This workshop will be taught using polymer clay, something different from our previous miniature classes where we used air dry clay. There will be 2 dates to choose from

Date: 25 Aug 2012- Sat (workshop 1)

01 Sep 2012- Sat (workshop 2)

Time: 2.30pm-6.30pm (25 Aug)

10.00am – 2.00pm (01  Sep)

Duration: 4 hours

Fee: $100 (all materials and tools will be provided for use during class), Accessories like plates and cakes stand are included. If you would like to purchase additional sets, you will be entitled to a 15% discount on workshop day. (applies to all products as well except sales items-only on the day of workshop)

In this workshop, you will be taught how to create and age the wooden fence and base as well as learning the technique of using polymer clay to create realistic mini cakes/cupcakes.

Miniature Traditional and Nonya Kuehs Making Workshop

Miniature Sushi Set Making Workshop on 17 March.

We will be having another workshop on miniature sushi set making on 17 March. In this 4 hours session you will learn how to make the above set which includes different types of Nigiri sushi, Temaki (hand rolls) and Udon noodle soup.

Recent Steamboat Making Workshop

I'm glad to share some photos of our recent steamboat making workshop.  All the efforts that the participants had put in were shown in the photos of these realistic looking little yummies. Although a total of 7 hours (2 sessions) were spent on making them, I’m sure everyone of them has enjoyed the process of making them as much as I did. ^-^

Adult Christmas Miniature Workshop

Thinking of making your own miniature Christmas log cakes and mini Christmas tree this holiday season? In the workshop you will be taught how to create the green tea and chocolate whipped cream covered log cakes and mini Christmas tree. Miniature Bread and Pastries Making Class on 19 Nov 2011

We will be having the miniature bread and pastries making workshop again on 19 Nov due to popular demand ^-^

Date: 19 Nov 2011 (Sat)

Time: 9.30am- 1.00pm (3.5 hours)

Fee: $100 (all materials and tools will be provided for use during class)

We will be making the set that you see above (all accessories will be provided for this set), we will also be making additional pieces so that you can create another set at home, however the additional accessories will need to be purchase separately (at 15% discount)

Students would attend this workshop will enjoy 15% discount on the purchase of our products at our studio.

As places are limited ( We love having small size group so that we can have individual attention to everyone). We will need to have a 50% deposit to confirm a place for you and the balance payment make payable on the workshop day.

Miniature Traditional and Nonya Kuehs Making Class

As promised ^-^ it will be a busy month for us. there will be quite a few workshops here at the studio. We will be having a “Miniature Traditional and Nonya Kuehs Making Class ” , besides the few types of Nonya Kuehs here, we will also be learning how to make the traditional Teo Chew red “Ang Gu Kuehs” and the pink “Peng Kuehs” as well. Though I do not know how to make the real ones, but I sure know how to make the miniature ones look yummy. The details of the workshop are as below.

Miniature Traditional Chinese Wedding Cakes Class

We will be having a Miniature Traditional Chinese Wedding Cakes Class on 10 Sept 2011.

Venue: Tinkle Art Studio @ No. 167, Jalan Bukit Merah, Tower 4, #05-12.

Fee: $100 (all materials and tools will be provided for use during class)

There are only 4 available places for this workshop and they will be on first come first served basis. To confirm a place, we will need a 50% deposit payment upon confirmation and the rest of the payment will be payable on the workshop day. Deposit  payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer. Students will enjoy a 15% discount on our products on workshop day.

Miniature Dim Sum Making Class on 30th July 2011

We will be conducting a Miniature Dim Sum Making Class on 30th July 2011(Sat) at 3pm-6.30pm. (3.5 hours) In this workshop you will be taught how to make the above dishes in miniature size. 

All accessories will be supplied.  All materials and tools will also be provided for use during class. 

Students will also be entitled to a 15% discount on the purchase of the products on workshop day.
